Dr. Kirsten Allen, a Sport and Rehabilitation Psychologist, has been with Shepherd Center since 2019. With a background in rehabilitation psychology and a passion for helping people navigate life disruptions, she specializes in supporting patients with concussions and mild traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

Her approach emphasizes compassion, empowerment, and guiding individuals through personal growth. Dr. Allen’s commitment to patient-centered care and her belief in the transformative power of grace led her to Shepherd Center, where she is inspired by the clinic’s gold standard of interdisciplinary care for individuals recovering from concussions.

As a former collegiate swimmer, Dr. Allen is also a certified mental performance consultant and coaches a local Master’s swim team. She enjoys spending time with her family and staying connected to the athletic world.
