Fellowship eligibility

Shepherd’s Multiple Sclerosis Fellowship Program welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and lifestyles to submit their applications. We offer one 12-month fellowship position available to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  1. Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program.
  2. Eligibility for a Georgia medical license.

To apply for the fellowship, the following documents are required:

  • Letter of interest or personal statement
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Letter(s) of recommendation

Upon receipt of the initial application documents, an interview will be scheduled. Interviews can be conducted in person at Shepherd Center or via video conference. The fellowship will begin on July 1, 2025.

Fellowship salary and benefits

Fellows will receive an annual stipend at the PGY-5 level/rate. Additionally, fellows are entitled to 15 days of vacation per academic year along with 12 weeks of maternity/paternity leave, per FMLA guidelines.
