About Beth Collier, PT, DPT, EdD, OCS, FAAOMPT
Beth Collier, PT, DPT, EdD, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Therapy and serves as Director of Postprofessional Education for Mercer University. She has experience practicing in hospital-based and private outpatient clinics.
Dr. Collier's teaching responsibilities include gross anatomy, applied anatomy, movement science, physical therapy examination and intervention in the entry-level and orthopaedic residency, and fellowship in manual physical therapy programs.
Her research addresses components of clinical reasoning and decision-making, patient outcomes, and persistent pain. She has presented locally and nationally in these areas.
Dr. Collier is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), APTA Georgia, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. She currently serves in leadership roles in state and national professional organizations.
