Hannah Long, Psy.D., joined Shepherd Center in September 2023 as a rehabilitation psychology postdoctoral fellow.
She graduated from Bradley University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology before obtaining her master’s degree in biomedical sciences and her Psy. D. from Midwestern University in Downer’s Grove, Illinois.
Dr. Long completed her internship in health psychology at the Medical College of Georgia/Charlie Norwood Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia. She is passionate about helping patients cope with difficult challenges, both mentally and physically.
Along with her clinical work, Dr. Long is passionate about intersecting animal-assisted interventions into patient care and enjoys volunteering in the community with her therapy dog, Daisy.
