About Taylor Jones
Taylor Jones is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist at Shepherd Center. He specializes in facilitating recovery and functional independence for patients recovering from neurological injuries. With a passion for applying Principles of Fitness to therapeutic modalities, Taylor plays a pivotal role in the Beyond Therapy program, where he crafts personalized approaches to help patients achieve their functional goals.
At Shepherd Center, Taylor finds immense fulfillment in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, enabling them to regain abilities they once thought were lost. His commitment to patient care is matched by his active involvement beyond the clinic walls. Taylor served on the Georgia Southern Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2017 to 2021 and has continued to contribute to the Georgia Southern Young Alumni Board since 2016.
In addition to his professional commitments, Taylor enriches his community as a coach for multiple flag football teams with Football 'N' America in Smyrna. He also serves as an Academy Soccer Assistant Coach at the Concorde Fire Soccer Club - Cobb Branch. Outside of his professional and volunteer pursuits, Taylor cherishes family time with his wife, Michelle, whom he met during their freshman year at college. Together, they are proud parents to two children, Lyla (8) and Griff (6).
