Clinic Coordinator

Cheryl Appleberry, MS, ATC, LAT, ITAT, serves as the clinic coordinator at the Complex Concussion Clinic, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to patient care. Since joining the center in 2016, Cheryl has been a dedicated advocate for her patients, establishing strong relationships with both patients and their care teams to ensure their success in recovery. Her commitment to understanding each individual's needs and advocating for them underscores her approach to care. 

At Shepherd Center, Cheryl finds fulfillment in the supportive community, abundant opportunities, and access to tools that enable her to excel in her role. With a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southwest Missouri State University, Cheryl brings a depth of knowledge to her role 

She also actively engages in medical research to stay informed of new policies and treatment options for mild traumatic brain injuries. Beyond her professional endeavors, Cheryl volunteers as a certified health coach and personal trainer.

In her leisure time, Cheryl enjoys hiking, capturing memories through photography, playing with her three dogs - Finn, Sadie, and Jax, and soaking up the sun at the beach.
