About Amy Hartline, AGACNP-BC
Amy has worked in healthcare for many years in many different roles including working as a Surgical Technologist in oculoplastics and working as a Registered Nurse in the med-surg specialty. She currently works as a Nurse Practitioner at the Shepherd Spine and Pain Institute. Prior to joining Shepherd Center in 2023, she worked in a private pain management practice for several years and has additional experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in behavioral health and radiology. In addition to working for Shepherd Center, she also works part-time for Kennesaw State University as an adjunct clinical instructor for their undergraduate nursing program. At the Shepherd Spine and Pain Institute, Amy provides care to patients with chronic pain through medication management, procedural recommendations, and coordination of care with other specialties, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other medical specialties such as orthopedics and surgery.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 from Kennesaw State University and earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 from University of Alabama Birmingham. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
