Introducing Lily Kuivinen, a 20-year-old from Fort Valley, Virginia, bringing her competitive spirit and love for the outdoors to Project Rollway! After a life-changing car accident on April 13, 2023, Lily has turned her recovery into a mission to help fellow brain injury survivors and raise awareness about their community.
Lily enjoys reading, paddle boarding, hanging out with friends and family, and watching basketball. She hopes to return to roller skating soon and dreams of spreading awareness about brain injuries and attending a Taylor Swift concert—she missed the Eras tour while at Shepherd.
Shepherd Center has profoundly impacted Lily, and she hopes others can experience its life-changing care. A favorite memory is beating her rec therapist, Detrick, at Skip-Bo, showcasing her competitive edge.
Lily loves challenges, was in the top 3% of Taylor Swift listeners in 2023 and finds cows adorable but loves a medium-rare steak.
