Meet Jon Hare, a spirited 17-year-old from Readyville, TN, who’s bringing his zest for life to Project Rollway! After sustaining a brain injury in a motor vehicle accident on September 9, 2023, Jon’s resilience and passion for life have only grown stronger.
Jon enjoys hunting, fishing, playing baseball, and farming. He dreams of graduating high school, going to college, and landing a great job. His hope for the Shepherd Center and the world is the discovery of a treatment to regenerate and heal nerves and brain tissue.
Jon’s favorite Shepherd Center memory? Dressing up as a traffic cone for Halloween and matching with Dr. Morgan! Fun facts about Jon? He has a picture of his brain to prove he has one, was the first 4th grader to hold a National Beta Club office, and his 11U baseball team won the World Series.
