Meet Dominique Ross, a resilient 17-year-old from Knoxville, Tennessee, who’s making waves at Project Rollway! After sustaining a spinal cord injury from being shot 13 times in a case of mistaken identity on June 11, 2023, Dominique has shown remarkable strength and positivity.

Dominique enjoys sewing, reading, and watching the rain. She dreams of a future in film and hopes for a world with greater accessibility for people with all types of disabilities, where everyone feels like they belong.

Her favorite memory at Shepherd Center is playing volleyball with Joe D, AK, and Stu during therapy. Fun facts about Dominique? She’s a skilled seamstress, has three siblings, and her favorite superhero is Spider-Man.
