Lauren Payne, RN, BSN, has been with Shepherd Center since 2022 and serves as a Triage Access Case Manager.
About
Lauren Payne joined Shepherd Center in October of 2022. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. Prior to her triage position, she worked for Encompass Health Rehab in Huntsville and Birmingham, Alabama as a rehab liaison and was also a bedside nurse for about five years on the neurosurgery floor where she cared for many brain and spinal cord injury patients, which is where her love for neuro rehab began.
Lauren lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband and stepson. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family.
