About Tachiana

Tachiana Ingram, a 40-year-old mother and Disney fan, began her journey with multiple sclerosis (MS) after her diagnosis in 2015, following vision loss during her first pregnancy. She was introduced to Shepherd Center through a support group and quickly accessed specialized care. Since then, Tachiana has worked closely with Shepherd’s Multiple Sclerosis Institute, which has been instrumental in her recovery and ongoing progress.

Tachiana hopes her portrait conveys a message of light and hope, showing that life with MS can be full of resilience, love, and purpose. While a photograph can capture moments of joy and support, she believes it can’t fully reveal the determination, hard work, and emotional strength behind her journey.

Reflecting on her experience, Tachiana highlights how Shepherd Center has helped her grow stronger both emotionally and physically. Hope has been a driving force, motivating her to embrace life despite challenges. Her daughter remains her greatest source of inspiration, giving her purpose and the courage to keep moving forward.

To others facing similar journeys, Tachiana’s message is clear: stay focused, find what works for you, and remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel. She expresses deep gratitude for the Shepherd Center team, praising their positivity, patience, and compassion, which have made an immeasurable difference in her healing and recovery.
