Hannah’s bio
Meet Hannah, an 18-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, whose life changed after a car accident left her with spinal fractures. Since arriving at Shepherd Center, she’s kept her spirit bright through workouts, crafts, Netflix marathons, and daily “therapy makeup” sessions with friends and staff. She imagines Shepherd in 1975 as a black-and-white world. Before today’s technology and buildings, but believes the culture of care and compassion has always been there and will continue to be. Looking to the future, she sees even more growth in facilities and innovation, while staying true to its roots. Her favorite memory? Getting ready for the Falcons game with other patients and therapists — doing hair, makeup, and adding a little sparkle with fairy hair. Fun facts: Hannah plays guitar, loves to dance, and plans to get a service dog in the future.
