Dr. Cole Crowson s a neurologist at the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute at Shepherd Center, where he has been practicing since 2025. He specializes in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, with a focus on applying advances in neuroscience to improve patients’ quality of life.

Known for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Crowson prioritizes understanding each individual’s story and leveraging the rapidly expanding therapeutic landscape in neuroinflammatory conditions to improve outcomes. He believes it is an exciting and meaningful time to practice medicine, as advances in neuroscience continue to transform patient care.

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Crowson was drawn to Shepherd Center for its longstanding commitment to compassionate, comprehensive care and its collaborative, mission-driven teams dedicated to improving patients’ lives.

Outside of work, he enjoys attending concerts — especially alternative rock and performances by artists like Jon Batiste — experimenting with Gordon Ramsay-inspired recipes, and spending time as a proud uncle to his nieces and nephews. He also enjoys caring for his greyhound and escaping to the mountains whenever possible.
