As a licensed clinical social worker, Azia has expertise practicing as a medical social worker, supporting the emotional and psychological needs of individuals through illness and recovery. She is specialized in providing comprehensive psychosocial support as individuals navigate throughout their health and well-being journey.
Walking through the doors of Shepherd Center was transformational for Azia, and she felt a strong desire to be part of its innovative and person-centered care team. She values the opportunity to help families experience resilience, healing, and obtain their desired quality of life. She brings compassion and a holistic approach to the delivery of care.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Azia finds joy and replenishment of energy through reading, nature walks, traveling with her husband, enjoying the performing arts, and weekend brunches.
