Halle’s bio
Meet Halle, a 21-year-old from Powder Springs, Georgia. In January 2025, she had a rare stroke that changed her path but not her spirit. A Dungeons & Dragons fan and music lover, Halle was thriving in nursing school before her injury. She imagines Shepherd Center in 1975 as a small space with just one therapy room…likely no facility dogs yet! Looking ahead, she hopes for more advanced technology, expanded therapy spaces, and plenty of sweet facility dogs. Her favorite memory? Trying the zero-gravity machine while staff and her visiting sisters cheered her on. It made her feel celebrated and inspired to keep going. Fun facts: Halle is a military brat who moved five times before 7th grade, lived in Germany for three years, and loves to draw.
