After a motorcycle accident in April 2025, Hunter began a new journey focused on recovery and strength. He loves building cars, riding motorcycles, and never backs down from a challenge. He imagines Shepherd Center in 1975 as smaller, less advanced, and part of another hospital. But he sees a bright future ahead with even better care and cutting-edge technology. One of his favorite memories? The moment he moved his leg for the first time — a milestone filled with hope. Fun facts about Hunter: he’s a two-time state champion in cross country and track, he has three service dogs, and he’s loyal to his favorite burger joint, Whataburger.
