Jaylin’s bio
Meet Jaylin, a 21-year-old from Dacula, Georgia, who came to Shepherd Center in May 2024 after experiencing a stroke. She loves roller skating, exploring new foods, and caring for her growing collection of plants. Jaylin imagines the Shepherd Center in 1975 as a place with lots of outdoor time and limited technology, where fresh air played a big role in recovery. Looking ahead, she sees a future filled with robots assisting in therapy and care. One of her favorite memories? Her first trip outside of Shepherd to grab a coffee—it was heartwarming. Fun facts: Jaylin roller skated for four years, cheered for over a decade, and has a green thumb when it comes to plants. She brings positivity, resilience, and a touch of flair to everything she does.”
