About
Dr. Jesse Couk earned his undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from California State University, Chico. He then pursued his medical education at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he completed his residency in internal medicine. In 2012, Dr. Couk relocated to Atlanta, Ga., to undertake a fellowship in infectious diseases at Emory University. During his time at Emory, he also obtained a Master of Science degree in clinical research, further enhancing his expertise.
Dr. Couk’s primary research interest lies in hospital-acquired infections, aiming to improve patient outcomes through innovative strategies and evidence-based practices. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases, reflecting his extensive training and commitment to his field.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Couk is dedicated to his family. He, his wife, and their two children enjoy exploring the parks around Atlanta and embarking on travel adventures together.
