Meet Ken, a 15-year-old from Brewton, Alabama. In September 2024, a football game changed his life, leading him to Shepherd Center. Ken loves watching sports and envisions a future as a mechanical engineer. Though he imagines Shepherd Center in 1975 was just beginning, he believes its core values of compassion and well-being have always been present. Looking ahead, Ken sees Shepherd expanding with more facilities across surrounding states, reaching even more people in need of specialized care. One of his favorite memories during rehab? Spending time relaxing and recharging in the peaceful Secret Garden. Fun facts about Ken: He loves his family, has a deep passion for sports, and dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer.
