About

Marsha Hanson began her career at Shepherd Center in 1996 as a patient care technician. Since then, she has served as a nurse, clinical research manager, clinical research coordinator and most recently, the clinical application supervisor helping Shepherd Center implement Epic, its electronic medical record system.

In October of 2019, Marsha began her tenure as director of outpatient services. With this promotion, she now directs Shepherd Center’s Outpatient Services, which includes the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute, Dean Stroud Spine and Pain Institute, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic, Urology Clinic, Wound Clinic, Call Center, and Medical Imaging Services. She is also responsible for the department’s activities and operations, providing oversight of program management activities, including business development, clinical services and financial growth.
