Myriam’s bio
Meet Myriam, a 17-year-old from Coral Springs, Florida, whose kindness and resilience shine through everything she does. After a car accident in March 2025, Myriam began her rehabilitation journey with the same grace and strength she brings to ice skating, volunteering at church, and spending time with her cats, friends, and family. She imagines Shepherd Center in 1975 as just beginning, full of hope and potential. Today, she sees it as one of the top rehab centers in the country for spinal cord and brain injuries. One of her favorite memories? Meeting Alana Shepherd and hearing her inspiring story, along with connecting with her amazing team of therapists and nurses. A few fun facts: Myriam loves Jesus, adores cats, and jams out to ’80s music.
