Dr. Priyanca Shah brings a strong interest in brain injury and neurorehabilitation to her work, focusing on helping individuals regain function and quality of life after neurologic injury. Her approach to care is patient-centered and collaborative — she takes time to listen carefully, understand each patient’s goals, and work closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans that support recovery across physical, cognitive, and emotional domains.
Originally from Bear, Delaware, Dr. Shah chose to join Shepherd Center because of its exceptional commitment to restoring function and quality of life for people with neurologic injuries. The Center’s culture of teamwork, innovation, and compassion deeply resonated with her values and her dedication to comprehensive, individualized care.
Outside of work, Dr. Shah enjoys learning about wellness, listening to podcasts, and going on walks with her dog.
