That philosophy guides Tracey Wallace’s work at Shepherd Center, where she blends clinical expertise with research leadership to advance care for individuals recovering from brain injury. As Therapy Manager and Projects Coordinator for the SHARE Military Initiative and Complex Concussion Clinic, and Associate Director of the Mild TBI Brain Health & Recovery Lab, Tracey oversees therapy operations, facilitates interdisciplinary program innovations, and leads research studies that translate ideas into practice.
Her work focuses on optimizing rehabilitation outcomes through person-centered care, cognitive-communication interventions, and technology-driven solutions that improve quality of life for patients and families.

Beyond Shepherd
Tracey serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Georgia Rehabilitation Services Volunteer Partnership Clinic, where she also provides speech-language pathology services for uninsured individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. She is also a board member (and recently past Vice Chair) for the Side by Side Brain Injury Clubhouse.
