Weston’s bio

Meet Weston, a 14-year-old from Marysville, Ohio, who came to Shepherd Center in January 2025 after a biopsy on a cancerous spinal tumor led to a spinal cord injury. Weston enjoys gaming, riding his bike, listening to music, making art, spending time with family and friends, and collecting Jordans and Funko Pops. He imagines the Shepherd Center in 1975 as a much smaller place with just a few rooms and a small staff. Looking ahead, he sees even more technology, a larger staff, and continued growth with new buildings and expanded care. Weston’s favorite Shepherd memory is meeting new friends and being off the ventilator for the first time…an unforgettable milestone. Fun facts: He loves making people laugh and enjoys going to Christian concerts.
