About
Tolydia Hurt is passionate about the critical role psychology plays in rehabilitation, particularly in helping patients adjust to the emotional, physical, and mental health changes that come with illness or injury. She values the opportunity to support patients on their journey toward recovery, helping them regain confidence and independence.
Tolydia was drawn to Shepherd Center after learning about its profound impact on patients and families, both locally and beyond. She wanted to be part of a team that makes a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Originally from Union Springs, Alabama, Tolydia enjoys gardening, knitting, painting, and working with resin in her free time.
