About
Courtney Friendly joined Shepherd Center in 2023 as an Admissions Representative, where she plays a vital role in welcoming new patients and their families. She coordinates admissions, facilitates consent processes, and ensures a smooth transition for patients upon arrival — often being one of the first friendly faces they encounter. Her goal is to create a warm and reassuring experience, leaving a lasting positive impression.
Courtney’s favorite part of working at Shepherd Center is witnessing patients’ resilience and growth throughout their rehabilitation journey. Seeing their progress, supported by Shepherd’s dedicated team, is both inspiring and rewarding.
Before joining Shepherd, Courtney worked in Emory Rehabilitation Medicine’s Department of Neuropsychology. She is currently a senior at Clayton State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with plans to earn a master’s degree in social work focusing on public health.
Outside of work and academics, Courtney loves spending time with her two children and family. She enjoys traveling and exploring new restaurants whenever she gets the chance.
