About the postdoctoral fellowship in adult clinical neuropsychology

The Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship at Shepherd Center provides you with a unique opportunity to train at a leading neurorehabilitation hospital. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide direct care to a diverse patient population, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, supportive environment.

As part of the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN), our program is designed to meet the education and training criteria outlined by the Houston Conference and the upcoming Minnesota Update Conference guidelines. This ensures that you receive specialized, high-quality training in clinical neuropsychology.

Program goals

This 24-month neuropsychology program will equip you with the skills to deliver clinical services in diverse settings and cultures, preparing you for board certification by the ABPP.

Throughout the program, you’ll work with a wide range of patient populations, including individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, disorders of consciousness, tumors, anoxia, hydrocephalus, infections, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative conditions, neurodevelopmental issues, geriatric concerns, and psychiatric disorders.

Neuropsychology fellowship application requirements

We offer one or two postdoctoral positions for applicants eager to become skilled neuropsychologists. In this role, you’ll work within multidisciplinary teams, providing assessment, intervention, and supervision, all while engaging in meaningful research.
