About
Chaplain Dave Wethington joined Shepherd Center in 2020, returning to the organization after previously being a patient here following a brain injury. With a background in professional chaplaincy, he offers empathetic, reflective, and compassionate care to patients, families, and staff.
His approach is rooted in helping others find hope, meaning, and purpose during difficult times. Dave was drawn back to Shepherd Center because of the organization’s unwavering dedication to holistic care and its ability to foster healing through empathy.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and engaging in activities like trail running, golf, and church that help him maintain personal balance while providing compassionate care to others.
