About

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Kristian Nitsch is dedicated to helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through patient-centered neuropsychological assessment and intervention. He completed his doctorate at the Illinois Institute of Technology and pursued advanced neuropsychology training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Drawn to Shepherd Center’s interdisciplinary, post-acute rehabilitation setting, Kristian enjoys collaborating with teams to support patients recovering from brain injuries. He remains involved in rehabilitation-related research and assessment development.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing chess, cycling, and spending time outdoors with his family and dogs.
