That belief guides Ashley Howard’s work as a Clinical Research Nurse at Shepherd Center. She combines clinical expertise with innovative research to advance therapies that improve mobility, independence, and quality of life for people living with neurological conditions.

Ashley collaborates closely with principal investigators to ensure participant safety and study integrity. Her responsibilities span recruitment, screening, direct patient care, outcomes assessments, laboratory processing, and data management — every step designed to uphold the highest standards of research and patient-centered care.

Beyond Shepherd

Ashley actively supports initiatives focused on advancing MS research and patient advocacy. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and exploring new ways to combine her love for nursing with research innovation.
