Types of nursing careers at Shepherd Center

At Shepherd Center, we offer a range of nursing careers tailored to different levels of experience and expertise. Whether you’re an aspiring nurse or a seasoned professional, our organization provides many opportunities in both inpatient and outpatient settings for growth and advancement.

Registered nurse (RN)

As an RN at Shepherd Center, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering direct patient care. RNs are responsible for assessing patient needs, creating and executing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Our RNs focus on patient-centered care, working closely with patients and their families to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient care technicians (PCT)

As a PCT, at Shepherd Center, you’ll assist patients with daily patient activities. PCTs are vital in maintaining patient comfort and safety, and they work in collaboration with the nursing staff to observe and report any changes in patient conditions. This entry-level position is an excellent starting point for those interested in a nursing career.
