Program Overview

  • Launch Date: The first scholarship will be awarded and new scholarships will be awarded annually.
  • Financial Incentive: Nursing scholars will receive $2,500 per semester, up to a total of $10,000 until graduation.
  • Service Commitment: Scholars will commit to six months of service at Shepherd Center for every semester they receive the scholarship. This commitment begins after graduation and upon starting full-time employment as a nurse at Shepherd Center.
