About
Benjamin D. Rose has been a dedicated healthcare chaplain since earning his degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 2005. Before joining Shepherd Center in 2010, he served at Atlanta Medical Center, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Transitions Hospice Care. Board-certified through the Spiritual Care Association, Ben brings a compassionate approach to spiritual care, addressing the needs of patients, families, and staff alike.
Originally from Maryland’s eastern shore, Ben has a background as a church pastor and hospice chaplain. He values his role at Shepherd Center for the opportunity to witness patients’ journeys and support them in their new lives. With a focus on providing meaningful, individualized spiritual support, Ben helps patients navigate their profound experiences with empathy and respect.
