Brigid Sykes is a Physical Therapist specializing in Aquatics at Shepherd Center. She understands the challenges her patients face, so she strives to bring joy and normalcy to their experience, making them feel heard and supported while also pushing them to achieve progress.
Brigid was drawn to Shepherd Center because of its cutting-edge technology, dedicated staff, and commitment to patient care. Her desire to help others was fueled by her grandmother’s spinal cord injury, which deepened her commitment to supporting families through difficult times.
Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Brigid enjoys spending her free time outdoors, doing crafts, and watching movies with her two young children, ages 5 and 1.5.
