About
Deja is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals and families navigating the emotional and relational challenges that can accompany injury, illness, and significant life changes. Deja has provided behavioral health services in family medicine and pediatric settings, working with patients and families across the lifespan. Her experience in integrated medical settings has shaped her collaborative approach to care, with an emphasis on supporting the whole person and the people who are important to them.
Deja’s approach is grounded in a strong commitment to social justice, equity, and advocacy. She recognizes that health and well-being are shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by culture, identity, relationships, and the social systems in which people live. She strives to provide culturally responsive care that honors each person’s lived experience, promotes dignity and autonomy, and helps reduce barriers to meaningful support and recovery.
Outside of work, Deja enjoys painting, karaoke, and taking scenic hikes with her dog.
