Vestibular impairments can be a primary or secondary diagnosis related with multiple neurologic disorders and other diseases. This course will provide an overview of the vestibular anatomy, pathophysiology of common vestibular impairments, and address assessment and treatment.
Through lectures and handson labs, attendees will gain an understanding of how vestibular rehabilitation can be integrated into clinical practice. This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of Occupational Therapists/ Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists/Physical Therapy Assistants, and Registered Nurses.
