About Michael Smith, D.O.
Dr. Smith's approach to medicine concentrates on improving health through a multidisciplinary approach to function and quality of life. His residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, completed at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, focused on the treatment of acute and chronic disabilities and functional impairments. He completed subspecialty training at Emory in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine with a comprehensive and non-operative focus on the spine and musculoskeletal systems. Dr. Smith treats a wide variety of ailments affecting the musculoskeletal and nervous systems through fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures of the spine and extremities, medication management, osteopathic manual medicine, physical therapy, and other modalities.
