Adaptive Wellness Collective (AWC) Clinic
This event will take place at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA. Participants will have the opportunity to join Shepherd Center’s Recreation Therapy Department and the AWC team for a clinic focused on digital, virtual, and in-person health and wellness opportunities.
This 2-hour session offers a guided tour of the Best Health Suite, the AWC’s dedicated recording studio and hub for community classes (in-person/virtual). Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a guided movement class and learn about the wide range of content available through the “AWC by Shepherd Center” platform, including adaptive fitness, mindfulness, recreation, educational programming, and specialized classes focused on eye strengthening, fine motor skills, coordination, and much more.
This event is free and includes a T-shirt, instruction, and equipment.
Registration is required for all events and opens at least six weeks prior to the start of the class or course. Most courses require a small fee; however, financial assistance is available.
