About
Jenna Brent joined Shepherd Center in 2020 as an access case manager. Before becoming a member of the Shepherd team, Jenna worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 10 years as an acute care social worker for the Trauma, Emergency, and Complex Care services. Jenna has always been passionate about providing education and matching patients with appropriate resources related to their healthcare.
Jenna earned a bachelor’s degree in social work at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and a master’s degree in social work at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Most recently, she earned her MBA from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville. She has a particular interest in learning about leadership across the care continuum.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her daughter and son. She loves traveling, hiking, cooking and volunteering for Open Table Nashville.
