Meet the Peer Support Team
Our Peer Support Team comprises remarkable individuals who have been down the same road you are currently on.
Led by former patients and caregivers who have personally experienced the physical, emotional, and mental challenges of rehabilitation and daily living, our team members bring a unique perspective to the support they provide.
Connecting with others who have traveled a similar rehabilitation journey and shared comparable experiences can be an invaluable source of comfort and inspiration. Our team fosters an inclusive, understanding environment where patients and their families can find solace, inclusion, humor, encouragement, and the knowledge that they are not alone.
Below, you will find the individual bios of our team members, each with their own journey. Each member is committed to lending a compassionate ear, offering guidance, and being a living testament to hope and life after injury. Together, we are here to uplift and empower because Peer Support is key to a brighter future at and beyond Shepherd Center.
