About
Kristina Carbone is the Cardiology and Advanced Internal Medicine preceptor for Shepherd Center’s Pharmacy Residency program.
She was in the first residency class at Shepherd Center, completing her PGY1 pharmacy residency. Throughout her residency, she obtained her teaching certificate through Mercer University.
Upon completion of residency, she worked at Northside Hospital in both the Atlanta and Forsyth campuses as a unit-based pharmacist. She rejoined Shepherd Center in February 2024 as a clinical pharmacist, working on the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) unit.
She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), and her interests include infectious disease, neurology, and internal medicine.
Kristina loves traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and two golden retrievers.
