Dr. Philip Wexler is the medical director of pulmonology and respiratory therapy services at Shepherd Center. With the Center’s long history of serving patients with significant complex respiratory needs, Dr. Wexler brings extensive expertise to his role, enhancing the specialized services provided and leading to more positive outcomes for patients.
Dr. Wexler earned his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His sub-specialty training in pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, allergy, and immunology was completed at the Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to joining Shepherd Center, Dr. Wexler was a physician partner at Berks Schuylkill Respiratory Specialists in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
