Due to the increasing complexity of MS, personalized care is the most effective way to help navigate and delay the progression of your condition. As a patient at the MS Institute, your care can include visits with neuropsychologists, pain experts, urologists, and other specialists as needed. Additionally, you’ll have access to other Shepherd clinics, classes, and services like neuropsychological services, pain management, patient and family educational counseling, seating clinic, and more.

Experience our comprehensive four-week MS Bowel and Bladder clinic, where you will collaborate with a team of professionals, including a physician assistant, nursing staff, occupational therapist, pelvic floor physical therapist, and case manager. This multidisciplinary approach ensures a holistic treatment plan addressing your bowel and bladder concerns.

The MS Institute presents “Living Well with MS,” a 12-week virtual series led by a MS counselor tailored for individuals diagnosed with MS within the past two years. Join this program to gain insights from Shepherd experts, connect with fellow MS individuals, and delve into topics like Wellness, Neurophysiology, medications, exercise, pain, sleep, resources, and impact on family.

Complex conditions like multiple sclerosis require a complex treatment plan, often encompassing multiple care specialists. To help navigate these healthcare systems, the Andrew C. Carlos Multiple Sclerosis Institute is staffed with experienced medical professionals, known as case managers and case manager associates, who serve as critical members of your expert care team.
