The Apothecary at Shepherd Center is your one-stop shop for pharmacy and retail needs. It offers a full-service pharmacy along with personal care items, snacks, stamps, greeting cards, gifts, and exclusive Shepherd Center apparel.

ATMs for Wells Fargo and Truist are conveniently located on the first floor near the main entrance.

Our chapel, situated on the first floor, is open around the clock for visitors of all faiths, offering a peaceful space for quiet reflection and prayer. Nondenominational services are held every Sunday and on special occasions. If you have specific religious needs, our chaplains are available to assist you in fulfilling them.

The Noble Resource Learning Center at Shepherd Center is open to patients, family members, and staff, providing a range of books and resources for both leisure, spiritual, and educational purposes. Located on the first floor, it’s open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Our dedicated Family Support team is here to assist you with a variety of services, including providing information, answering your questions, offering directions, arranging tours, and coordinating local transportation. Family members also have access to our Family Lounge, a comfortable space designed for relaxation and work, providing a welcoming retreat during your stay.

Memberships to the ProMotion Fitness Center at Shepherd Center are open to patients, families, staff, and the community. The fitness center features accessible equipment suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, along with a range of fitness classes. Our staff are available to provide guidance on equipment usage, exercise routines, and fitness progression.

We offer both short-term and long-term housing options, including nearby hotels and family housing to ensure you have a comfortable place to stay during your time with us.

Interpreters are available to assist in explaining your care. For evening hours, weekends, or languages without in-person interpreters, these services may be provided over the phone. Shepherd Center also offers telecommunication devices and sign language interpreters to support those who are Deaf and hard of hearing.

We offer free and convenient covered parking for all patients and their families 24/7. ADA parking is available on every level of the garage, with van-accessible spaces on the ground level. Each parking deck level has elevator access to the hospital.

For pick-up and drop-off, designated areas are available. Visitors can borrow transport chairs from our Security Desk if needed.

The Secret Garden is a serene oasis for patients and families. It offers a beautifully landscaped retreat featuring a koi pond, Wishing Wall, accessible planting beds, and stunning garden art. The garden hosts patient and family cookouts, socials, and other events, and serves as a popular spot for horticulture therapy, birdwatching, and terrain training.

Our security personnel are on duty 24/7 and easily recognizable by their traditional law enforcement uniforms. We maintain constant surveillance of both the hospital and parking decks to ensure your safety. For immediate assistance, visit the Security Desk located near the main entrance.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout our facilities, making it easy to stay connected with loved ones and continue working as needed. Access to computers with printer capability is available in the library and Family Lounge. Each patient room is equipped with a television with local channels, and patients also have access to the Center for Assistive Technologies for personalized assistive technology solutions.
